The BuiltAir. A professional level Indoor Air Quality Logger from NosmoTech

The BuiltAir indoor air monitor is  the best in class all round monitor for indentifying the specific issue within the indoor environment.

Used for COSHH workplace exposure monitoring surveys, specifically to monitor for dust, and voc's but also to calculate heat index and wbgt. Other applications including

  • BMS
  • Ventilation monitoring and control
  • Airflow assessment

Many monitors indicate temperature and humdity but this is not enough.

Good monitoring guidance is required such as ASHRAE 55 or PAS. The identify the need to monitor ventilation from the perspective of airflow. A monitor only record temp/ humidity cannot do this!

The BuiltAir affords a high level of accuracy within the arena of indoor air quality. Not only does it achieve greater resolution when reporting on parameters, it also provide monitoring of important paramater previuosly ignored.

The basic features include: temperature, humidity, pressure and CO2, however it all measures air flow, light, noise (dBA and dBC) and particulate (PM10,Pm2.5)

The system works on a mesh network so you can have multiple unit operating on one network.

All the information reports to a secure data dashboard

The very important feature of this system is - there is a very low subscription cost. To view the Nosmotech site go here click

Damp and Mould Control

Monitoring for relative humidity, temperature, airflow, CO2 and light makes the BuiltAir the ideal product for indoor monitoring, in order to control damp and mould.

The unit can be used as either a standalone module where its battery allows monitoring for up to 6 weeks. Or if multiple networked units are required, then used the  powered system, capable of additionally  monitoring pm's(pm10,2.5 and pm1) continuously and reporting to the cloud.

You can share visual graphical data with tennants explaining the need to keep a window open, or  trickle vent open or even the need to allow a fan to run for longer.

In continous monitoring mode, as a landlord, you can alert the tennant as to any arising issues. The power consumption is tiny. It can easily run of a power bank if needed.

IAQ and IEQ

Understanding what we are measuring and why we are measuring a component is vital.

Well proven standards from recognised organisations like ASHRAE are critical to drive coherent monitoring.

Reading below we explain IAQ and IEQ, thermal comfort.

The other important parameter is the accuracy and reliability of the product.

Our product demonstrates high accuracy and precision
